Amperfied GmbH is a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG and one of the most important German wallbox manufacturers. Since 2014 – when the first wallbox was made – we have been consistently expanding our production capacity. As a result, in the past few years we have been able to deliver more than 50,000 charging stations. Many customers have no idea that a Heidelberg Wallbox is charging their electric or hybrid vehicle. This is because, in addition to our own brand, we also deliver to car manufacturers and energy providers, who resell our wallboxes under their own name.
“So what exactly is made in Germany?”, you may be asking. The electronic elements such as switching devices and circuit boards are produced at our main location in Wiesloch-Walldorf. The individual components, some of which we purchase from abroad, are put together with the highest standards for flawless implementation in terms of quality. All of this with loving, reliable craftsmanship.
