HEIDELBERG COMBOX LITE & COMBOX COMPLETE
THE SMART COCKPIT FOR E-CHARGING STATIONS
Intelligent control and networking of wallboxes
The Combox Lite communicates with up to 16 Heidelberg Energy Control Wallboxes, networks them, and thus controls the static load management. With the Combox Complete, the dynamic load management of the entire vehicle fleet also. The user-friendly software monitors and analyzes the wallboxes and charging processes reliably and effectively. The current charging status or error diagnoses can also be viewed at any time. The Combox Lite is a control unit that can be installed directly in the base cabinet or switching cabinet.

YOUR BENEFITS
Static load management with Heidelberg Combox Lite
The Combox Lite communicates as a control unit with up to 16 Heidelberg Energy Control Wallboxes and networks these devices in a user friendly manner. Once the building's maximum grid connection capacity has been saved in the web interface for the Combox Lite, the total current is distributed equally. The Combox Lite is installed directly in the main distribution board or in a sub-distribution board.
Dynamic load management with the Heidelberg Combox Complete
Dynamic load management is easy with the Heidelberg Combox Complete. This bundle comprises a Combox Lite, a measuring instrument, a communication module and measuring current transformers. The user-friendly software monitors and analyzes the wallboxes and charging processes reliably and intuitively. The Combox Lite web interface provides a status and diagnostics overview and allows you to access the charging process at any time.
At the same time, you can roll out any necessary software updates centrally to the wallbox network. You can also view the current charging status or the diagnosed errors at any time. The open charge point protocol OCPP 1.6 enables you to connect to a cloud-based backend system. As a result, you have remote access to the charging infrastructure at any time and from anywhere (e.g. via an app).
That's how it works
Dynamic load management
- The current electricity consumption of a building is measured at the connection to the grid, which allows
the amount of charging power available to be adjusted accordingly. - If the electricity consumption in the building drops, the charging power for the vehicles increases. The
same is true in reverse. For this control process, the Combox Lite can be connected with a measuring
instrument to determine the electricity consumption in the building. - The information about the maximum charging current is sent to the Combox Lite via the LAN interface
and distributed to the wallboxes that are currently charging a vehicle. - Benefit: avoiding load peaks and thus high costs for exceeding the grid capacity
