HEIDELBERG COMBOX LITE

THE SMART COCKPIT FOR E-CHARGING STATIONS

Intelligent control and networking of wallboxes

The Combox Lite communicates with up to 16 Heidelberg Energy Control Wallboxes, networks them, and thus controls the static and dynamic load management of the entire vehicle fleet. The user-friendly software monitors and analyses the wallboxes and charging processes reliably and effectively. The current charging status or error diagnoses can also be viewed at any time. The Combox Lite is a control unit that can be installed directly in the base cabinet or switching cabinet.

YOUR BENEFITS

Intelligent control and networking of the wallbox

Via a web interface or back-end system you get a status and diagnostic overview at all times as well as access to the charging process. At the same time, you can distribute essential software updates centrally to the wallbox network. Thanks to the implemented application protocol OCPP 1.6, it is possible to connect to various cloud-based back-end providers. This means that you have remote access to the charging infrastructure everywhere and at all times (for example via an app).

Coming soon: Optimal power use and fair distribution

If a company building consumes less electricity, the wallboxes automatically receive more and vice versa. For this purpose, the Combox Lite is connected to the back end via OCPP 1.6. The maximum charging current information is forwarded to the Combox Lite via LAN and then communicated to the corresponding wallboxes, which are currently charging an electric or hybrid vehicle.

That’s how it works
