This is how electromobility works for companies: It is suitable for fleet managers, company car drivers, owners of multi-family homes and hotel and restaurant businesses.
As a smart business wallbox, it supplements the convenient benefits of our Amperfied Wallbox connect.home - including RFID authentication, app control, charging data analysis, remote access and more - with an integrated MID electricity meter that accurately records the energy consumed. The Amperfied Wallbox connect.business is the convenient, efficient and economical charging solution for businesses.

The Wallbox for companies with company cars as well as apartment buildings and the hospitality industry
The wallbox with MID meter and RFID card
The wallbox with MID meter and RFID card Thanks to the combination of MID-compliant energy meter and RFID authentication, you can see which vehicle is using which amount of energy and you can easily settle the bill manually. In addition, authentication via RFID card prevents charging by unauthorised third parties.
For all those who don't know what the term RFID card means: RFID stands for "Radio-Frequency Identification" and enables the contactless exchange of data by means of electromagnetic waves at close range. With the RFID card and the energy meter, the Amperfied Wallbox connect.business is an innovative, economical solution for managing charging processes for:
- commercial fleets.
- Multi-party buildings.
- Company car drivers.
- Hotel and catering businesses.
A wallbox with backend connection, app and web interface
The Amperfied wallbox connect.business supports the standard communication protocol OCPP 1.6. It can be easily connected to backend systems from various providers for managing and billing charging processes. Without an additional backend, the myAMPERFIED app and the web interface offer a simple way to view consumption data and export the charging history. Each charging process is recorded and saved and a detailed charging history is available. This can be viewed and downloaded at any time via the app or the web interface.
For additional cyber security, we will also offer the optionally switchable OCPP 1.6 secure protocol with a software update from Q3 2023.
The option to use dynamic load management avoids load peaks in the power grid and optimises the charging time of the connected electric cars.
App control and compatible with the PV system
The Amperfied wallbox connect.business can be easily controlled and monitored via our myAMPERFIED app - here's the app for iOS and Go here for the app for Android products. How to succeed:
- start and control the charging process remotely.
- reduce or increase the charging current.
- monitor the current charging data.
- to activate the RFID cards of those users who are allowed to have access to the wallbox.
The wallbox can also be linked to a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) in order to supply the charging station with its own electricity via the in-house PV system. The system only feeds as much solar power into the wallbox as is currently available.
Amperfied Solutions: The Wallbox optionally with dynamic load management
The power resources at a charging station are limited. If several employees, hotel guests, tenants or restaurant visitors want to charge their electric and hybrid vehicles at the same time, this can become a problem. The solution is a load management system in the wallbox, because it distributes the available charging energy evenly to all vehicles to be charged. Basically, a distinction is made between static and dynamic load management:
- Static load management: Here, a fixed maximum charging power is distributed among the charging points.
- Dynamic load management: Depending on the power consumption in the building, the power available for the charging stations can be flexibly adjusted up to the level of the grid connection power and distributed to electric and hybrid vehicles according to demand.
Charging technology made in Germany

With Amperfied, we stand for clever charging technology made in Germany and cherish the claim to be a trustworthy and reliable partner on the path to sustainable mobility.
Frequently asked questions about the Wallbox for Business
If the employer provides an electric or hybrid vehicle as a company car, there is no obligation for them to bear the costs for the wallbox including installation.
In general, there are three options that can be negotiated individually between employer and employee:
- Employers give the wallbox as a gift
The tax office considers this as additional remuneration. As with a company car, the wallbox costs must be taxed as a non-cash benefit. - The wallbox is lent to employees
The resulting non-cash benefit is exempt from wage tax and social security contributions if the employer owns the wallbox. In contrast to variant 1, salary conversion is not permitted. The wallbox must be recorded as additional remuneration. - Leasing with subsequent transfer
The wallbox can be leased and taken over at the end of the term. The residual value of the wallbox is then classified as additional wages.
*Disclaimer: Depending on the application and country, national requirements for accounting, e.g. compliance with calibration law, and tax treatment must be taken into account.

Unfortunately, no. The KfW subsidies 439 and 441 have been discontinued. However, subsidies from the individual federal states and/or cities may be possible. At the same time, please refer to the BW-e-Solar voucher in Baden-Württemberg, which, however, only applies if you install or already own a PV system for self-sufficient power supply.
This depends very much on the local conditions. You can expect installation costs between 500 and 2,000 EUR, even more in difficult conditions. You can find more information in this blog post.
By the way, the costs for the wallbox installation can be wonderfully compensated. Ever heard of the GHG bonus? Since you, as the driver:in of an electric car, actively contribute to reducing climate-damaging greenhouse gas emissions, you can certify the CO₂ savings of your e-vehicle and sell them to companies subject to quotas. From March 2023, the amount is € 250 per electric vehicle. More information on the GHG quota can be found here.
No. Only a qualified electrician may do this. This is regulated in §13 of the Low Voltage Connection Ordinance.
The 11 kW is perfectly sufficient, because hardly any electric car can charge AC with 22 kW. Our expert Christian explains more about this here.
